10th Annual Blended Learning Showcase Begins

The District’s 10th Annual Blended Learning Showcase kicks off from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Smithson Valley High School.

Parents, students and community members are encouraged to attend this event and see how students and teachers enhance learning and instruction through technology health and wellness, art and fine arts.

Students will showcase innovative projects at each of the district’s traditional high schools beginning Wednesday at SVHS. The next two showcases will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Canyon High School; and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Canyon Lake High School.

Students will be on hand to discuss their projects, which will be on display including art, health and wellness exhibits and fine arts demonstrations. There will even be great prizes to win!

Along with the three events, is an annual Blended Learning Showcase Logo Contest. Students from across the district compete to create a unique logo for each year's theme. This year’s logo winner is Canyon High School Artist Nayeli Rutherford.
