March 5, 2021 - It's Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day, and Comal ISD would like to send out a big ‘Thank You’ to the 51 employees who keep every campus in operation on a daily basis behind the scenes.
This group includes licensed plumbers, electricians, carpenters, pool technicians, waste water technicians and more. They often work nights and weekends to get the job done from minor tasks such as hanging plaques and banners to major projects like the ones caused from the snowstorm that displaced students from Specht Elementary.
They do whatever it takes to provide a safe environment for students to learn and for staff to work.
“We cover everything that needs repair,” says Chris Hoff, Comal ISD maintenance supervisor. “We take care of the items you don’t think about until you need it repaired.”
Thank you for all you do!
