Comal ISD Students Advance To UIL Academic State Meet

July 1, 2024 - Seventeen Comal ISD students wrapped up the school year competing in the UIL Academic State Meet in Austin with one becoming the 3A headline writing champion and another taking the 5A bronze medal in physics.

Memorial Early College High School senior Jaela Bailey became the state champion in 3A headline writing, and her entry was named Tops in Texas after being compared to the first-place winners in all divisions.

Smithson Valley High School senior Trajan Falk won the bronze medal in 5A physics competition.

Students advanced to the state competition in various contests. They are listed here alphabetically.
